Our Botanics Long Handled String Bag in Cocoa by Turtle Bags is crafted from organic cotton and dyed using natural, plant-based ingredients. Produced in India, each bag is coloured with rich, earthy tones derived from materials such as pomegranate, sea salt and madder root — giving every piece a soft, organic character.
Tested by Which?, these lightweight string bags are exceptionally strong, capable of carrying up to 40kg. Designed for everyday use, they offer both durability and flexibility while remaining compact and easy to carry.
Natural vegetable dyes are non-toxic and biodegradable, making them a more environmentally conscious choice. They require less water during production, are gentle on skin, and any by-products can be composted — reducing overall waste.
Please note: due to the absence of chemical mordants, colours may soften and fade over time. Some dye transfer may occur, particularly onto light-coloured fabrics. We recommend washing before first use.
