A handmade South American folk-art picture from the 1960s, made using contrasting pieces of natural and coloured wood to create a figurative design.
The wood-inlay picture is set within an intricate, hand-carved wooden frame with geometric gilt detailing. The frame has been carved from local wood and adds considerable detail to the piece.
